The room is dated and the lever that switches the shower to bath was broken - the hotel is in a great location and a short walk to Tower Hill and tower gateway stations. The hotel is very nice and was good for the one night. With stunning views of Tower Bridge & located near London Bridge, this iconic hotel is the perfect base for sightseeing. That was very disappointing as we asked for it for a reason. Fortunately there was no issues with our own phone alarms but if a wake up call is requested I would really expect it to happen. We asked for a 6am wake up call as a back up for the morning - this did not happen. The view from the room was second to none, we could see tower bridge and at Catherine’s dock. We had to ask 3 more times as it wasn’t done and the bed wasn’t bought to the room until nearly 10pm, mostly this wouldn’t have been an issue, but it delayed getting an early night as planned for the race the next day. I had also emailed and called to check this and it was confirmed. Check in was quick, we confirmed that we were 3 adults sharing and was confirmed an extra bed would be in the room around 5pm. We stayed for one night for the London Marathon.
